Hi! Thank you for being here. While I expect most people who end up on this page to know me, for those that don't, my name is Taylor. I am 31 years old and live in Everett Washington. Starting this blog has been scary, exciting, challenging, and extremely vulnerable. I'm probably the last person on earth to willingly open myself up for any type of criticism, critique, or judgement. But here I am. And honestly, how can you critique someone for telling their truth and sharing their experiences? That's all I'm here to do. My goal in starting this blog was to create a healthy outlet to process the things happening in my life, document my journey and personal growth, and connect with others who are feeling and experiencing similar things in life.
Read more in my first blog post titled "Introduction," to learn about what led me here, what I'm hoping to accomplish with this blog, and how it got its name. As a disclaimer, this is completely informal. I'm not a tech savvy person whatsoever. Creating this website was a headache and a half for me, and I have zero designer blood in my body. This isn't going to be the most sophisticated or visually appealing blog/website that you've ever seen, and I don't intend for it to focus on that. My hope is that the content itself will be helpful in some way. That we can connect with one another and shed light on topics that are hard to talk about, and that people who care can follow along on my own personal journey through grief, loss, heartbreak, hope, and happiness.
If you're not a reader and prefer audio, I was also a guest on two episodes of The PAVED Podcast discussing topics within grief and loss. You can listen to Season 1 Episode 12 and Season 3 Episode 3 anywhere you get podcasts!
Feel free to send me an email. I'd love to hear about your stories and experiences. You can also visit my social channels through the links on the home page, and connect with me there as well.
